Mendes Ranch Park (aka Mendes Park Site) is a future 9-acre neighborhood park located on Angsley Drive near Bilby Road within the South East Policy Area. We are working in partnership with the City of Elk Grove to design and build this new park.

Public Engagement

We held two public workshops to discuss the design of this new 9-acre park, offering residents the chance to share their ideas. Both meetings generated engaging discussions.

The first workshop, held in July, featured an interactive exercise where the community had the opportunity to design their ideal park. The second workshop, held in September 2024, focused on gathering additional feedback, which led to adjustments in the plan to better align with community needs.

This project is funded by the City of Elk Grove through the South East Policy Area (SEPA) Park Fee program.
