Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial

Regional Veterans Memorial

The Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial is located within Elk Grove Park (9950 Elk Grove Florin Road) to the north of the White Diamond ball field. This beautiful memorial is dedicated to living and deceased military members who have served their communities with honor. Every year on November 11, Elk Grove's Veterans Day Parade ends at the Veterans Memorial, followed by a community picnic. Built by and for our community, this memorial stands as a lasting symbol of remembrance and gratitude.

The Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial features a thoughtfully designed space that honors military service through symbolic and community-centered elements. Anchored by a prominent flagpole and a large concrete star, the memorial includes decomposed granite walkways, a paver patio, and benches that invite quiet reflection. Its centerpiece is a curved memorial wall shaped like a waving American flag, which will hold granite plaques commemorating individual veterans. Surrounding this are engraved bricks, allowing community members to personalize the space with names of loved ones who have served. Located in Elk Grove Park, the memorial blends meaningful design with accessibility, making it a lasting tribute built by and for the community.
