Veterans Day Parade

Celebrate & Honor America's Veterans

Join Cosumnes CSD and the Elk Grove American Legions as we celebrate America's Veterans with a ceremony, parade, and community picnic. The event will commence at 10 am with a ceremonial Reading of the Names to commemorate our community's service men and women. The parade will begin at 11:11 am at the Cosumnes CSD Administration Building and conclude at Elk Grove Park. After the parade, there will be a community picnic open to the public. 

Ceremony

• Begins at 10 am
• Cosumnes CSD Administration Building, 8820 Elk Grove Blvd. 

Parade

• Begins at 11:11 am
• Parade path:
  • Start at Cosumnes CSD Administration Building, 8820 Elk Grove Blvd.
  • Travel east on Elk Grove Blvd.
  • Turn right and head south along Elk Grove-Florin Road
  • Turn right into Elk Grove Park and end there

Community Picnic

• Immediately following the parade
• Elk Grove Park, 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road, near Veteran's Memorial
• Open to the public
• First come, first served

Street Closures

• Begin at 9:30 am around Elk Grove Blvd and Elk Grove- Florin Rd.
• Arrive early to ensure seating
