Discover the water for your family gathering or other special event and enjoy the attractions at the Elk Grove Aquatics Center, Jerry Fox Swim Center, and Wackford Aquatic Complex.
AQUATIC FACILITY RENTALS
Aquatic Facility Rentals are the ideal option if you want to have an entire aquatic facility available for your celebration! Aquatic Facility Rentals are available after normal Recreation Swim hours. All rentals include American Red Cross trained and certified lifeguards. There is a 2-hour minimum booking requirement when renting the pool.
- Reservations are accepted starting February 2, 2026

- Complete the Aquatic Facility Rental Application (PDF)
- Submit the Aquatic Facility Rental Application via email or in person at a Cosumnes CSD Customer Service Location
- Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the expected event date
- The renter must obtain insurance through an outside vendor or provide liability protection through their Homeowners or Tenants insurance. The renter may not decline liability insurance.
- Applications are processed in the order they are received and are based on availability
- Aquatic Facility Rentals are made available between May 29 - September 6, 2026
- Elk Grove Aquatics Center offers Saturday and Sunday reservation options, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Jerry Fox Swim Center offers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday reservation options, from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
- Wackford Aquatic Complex offers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday reservation options, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

POOL PARTIES
Discover Pool Parties this summer! Pool Parties are great for any event you are celebrating, from your child’s birthday party to a graduation or a family reunion! Pool Parties are hosted at the Cosumnes CSD aquatic facilities during Recreation Swim hours. These smaller gatherings are perfect for any occasion and a Cosumnes CSD team member will help facilitate your pool party experience.

AQUATIC SUMMER FIELD TRIPS
Celebrate with Us!
The Wackford Aquatic Complex and Elk Grove Aquatics Center are great places for an end-of-the-year school field trip or celebrating with your non-profit or service organization. If you have a group of 30 or more students and are looking to come to the pool during Recreation Swim hours. By booking a field trip, we can assist with ease of entry, explain pool rules, provide payment options, and more.

- Applications must be submitted at least 1 week prior to the field trip date; any applications with less than 7 days' notice will be denied
- All applications are processed first-come, first-served basis and are based on availability
- Field trips are made available on weekdays only between June 1 - August 7, 2026

Fees:
The organization/school will pay (Ages 2-4: $5.00, Ages 5+: $8.00) upon arrival. 1 chaperone for every 10 students will enter free (all teachers and parent/guardians attending are considered chaperones), up to 10 chaperones. Admission for any additional chaperones will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The number of attendees cannot exceed 100 individuals. Inflatable wristbands sold separately.
Payment:
Card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard), cash (nothing higher than $20), or check (written to Cosumnes CSD). Receipt will be available upon request.
Damage Deposit
- A damage deposit is required for all Cosumnes CSD Facility rentals.
- The deposit is collected in the form of a credit card.
- A facility inspection will be conducted before and immediately following the event by Cosumnes CSD staff to determine the condition of the facility, including the assembly area, pool deck & locker rooms.
- If an event causes the need for: a) cleaning procedures which are beyond the scope of normal maintenance, b) repairs or replacement due to structural or equipment damage, c) the event exceeds the terms of the contract or d) event payment is returned as non-sufficient funds, the credit card Damage Deposit may be used, in part or in total, to pay for these services.
- What if I have more than 30 guests?

We limit the guest list to 30 guests maximum for the Splash and Wave Parties. This includes the host(s), guest of honor, all parents/guardians, all children, all swimmers and non-swimmers. If you have over 30 guests, you must purchase a second party, held at the same time. Parties with attendance higher than 60 guests (2 parties at the same time) may want to consider a Private Splash Island or Private Treasure Island Party, held before Recreation Swim hours, allowing 50 guests or an Aquatics Facility Rental, held after Recreation Swim hours.
- Who is considered a “guest?”

Anyone who is attending the party is considered a guest. This includes the host(s), the guest of honor, all parents/guardians, all children, all swimmers, and non-swimmers. Only children under 2 years old will not be counted against your guest list total.
- When can I book my party?

Pool Parties go on sale the first day of summer registration (refer to the summer Activity Guide) and can be purchased in person at one of our registration offices, over the phone, or online via the online booking portal. All reservations are first-come, first-served basis and based on availability, so booking your party early is strongly encouraged. Pool parties must be booked at least a week prior to your party date.
- What if the date I want is already full?

Unfortunately, there is no waiting list for Pool Parties. All reservations are first-come, first-served and based on availability.
- What happens should it rain or other inclement weather occur during my party?

The pools remain open during cloudy, windy, and rainy conditions. We only close the pools when unsafe due to thunder, lightning, or other dangerous weather activity. Your party will proceed as scheduled unless the Cosumnes CSD cancels your party due to unsafe weather conditions.
