Biography
Peter Sakaris is a first-generation American born to Greek immigrants and raised in the Sacramento area. He is a retired Battalion Chief for Emergency Medical Services with the Cosumnes Fire Department and proudly served the communities of Elk Grove and Galt for almost 30 years.
As a resident of Elk Grove for over two decades, Peter has continued to serve his local community through his participation in the Lakeside Homeowner’s Association. He is a Mason and member of St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Elk Grove.
Married for thirty years to his wife Jodie, a Clinical Case Manager at UC Davis Medical Center, they raised their two children, Alexis and Demetrius, in the community of Elk Grove. Both, now adults, have entered community service careers; Alexis as a Deputy District Attorney and Demetrius as a Registered Nurse.
