Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Coronavirus Update from Cosumnes CSD

There is no higher priority to the Cosumnes CSD than the health and safety of our community and employees. The Cosumnes CSD has been following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the California Department of Public Health, and the Sacramento County Public Health Department, to protect public health and fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Latest News

Cosumnes CSD will adhere to the California Department of Public Health Guidance for the Use of Face Masks, effective 3/1/2022. The updated requirements include:

  • Effective March 1, 2022 , the requirement that unvaccinated individuals mask in indoor public settings will move to a strong recommendation that all persons, regardless of vaccine status, continue indoor masking

  • Universal masking shall remain required in specified high-risk settings.

  • After March 11, 2022, the universal masking requirement for K-12 and Childcare settings will terminate. CDPH strongly recommends that individuals in these settings continue to mask in indoor settings when the universal masking requirement lifts.

Universal masking will remain required at the following Cosumnes CSD programs through March 11, 2022:

  • Indoors at Tiny Tot Preschools
  • Indoors at Kid Central Before & After School sites
  • On the Teen Taxi

Because the situation continues to evolve, we may decide to modify these measures based on the latest guidance from public health officials. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
