April Wellness Challenge
Focus on your health and wellness this April, and get rewarded! Cosumnes Parks & Recreation is challenging you to do one thing (big or small) to improve your physical, mental or social health every day in April. Fitness in the Park
FREE - Tuesdays in April from 5-7pm @ Laguna Community Park, 9014 Bruceville Road (map)
Bring the family out for some fun in the park, we will have instructor led adult and youth fitness classes and informal activities for the whole family to enjoy together. Classes will include yoga, cardio, strength and more. Bring a mat and a water bottle and get ready to have some fun!
- April 4 - 5:15-6pm - Get Fit w/ Liz - a fun, full-body workout for all fitness levels, guaranteed to make you sweat and feel strong.
- April 11 - 5:15-6:15pm - Yoga w/ Andrew- a balanced yet dynamic vinyasa yoga class for all levels.
6:15-6:45pm - Glimpse of the Pacific - learn the basics of Polynesian dance through dance steps and motions.
April 18 - 6-7pm - Xtreme Hip-Hop Steppin' w/ Mo - a beginner friendly step class brings the energy and upbeat music that will burn calories while having fun.
April 25 - 5:15-5:45pm - Zumba w/ Gloria - Dance those calories away with a fun dance party for everybody and every body!

Elk Grove FitFest
Join the movement toward a healthy, active lifestyle at this FREE fitness festival! There will be fun activities for all ages and abilities, including a free kids zone, vendors and food trucks, adult fitness demonstrations, and friendly competitions. Learn more

Get Fit with Liz
This full-body workout experience combines cardio, strength and core training to help you reach your goals. Every workout varies in format to keep things fun and challenging. You will use a variety of body-weight exercises to improve cardio fitness, build lean muscle and maximize calorie burn. No special equipment needed and you will leave each class stronger than before.
Xtreme Hip-Hop: Steppin' with Mo'
This is a beginner friendly, high energy step aerobic class with a twist. Using the latest upbeat songs to create an exciting environment where your focus will be geared to having fun and not noticing the many calories being burned.
